Job Overview
We are currently hiring a Field Services Manager to be based out of our Dallas, TX location. This position will require experience implementing and managing a national support organization to maintain the photo enforcement systems we have installed throughout the United States. This person will be required to manage teams of maintenance technicians as well as our third-party support vendors. This position will have responsibility for optimizing the use of internal and third-party resources to ensure high levels of uptime within the budgeted low cost structure. The position will report to the Director of Field Services Operations.
Responsibilities
- Management of internal and external service delivery resources, holding them accountable to predefined goals, schedules and cost parameters
- Oversight of all preventive maintenance and service call operations, scheduling, dispatch and follow through
- Ensuring effective feedback loops on maintenance issues with Director of Manufacturing, including root cause analysis to determine cause of problems
- Budget responsibility with an eye towards conservative cost consciousness
- Ensuring that all activities are tracked and managed through our service delivery systems
- Managing analysis of field issues in order to recommend changes that will improve performance, quality control and cost effectiveness
- Regular communication of service delivery strategy and performance to senior management
- Hiring and firing of internal and third-party service delivery resources
- Training of internal and external service delivery resources, including ensuring that all documentation materials are up to date, relevant and effective
- Managing 24/7 performance monitoring and tracking of photo enforcement systems in field
- Ensuring that appropriate levels of inventory are strategically, responsibly and securely maintained to meet service delivery requirements
- Review of camera data and performance report
- Managing to a defined set of performance goals

Experience Required
- 5+ years field service management experience
- Proven track record of success design, implementation and management of service delivery programs from multiple locations and preferably with internal and external resources
- Experience managing remote resources
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint software
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent required
Work Environment
- Office environment located in Dallas, TX
- Job will require travel
- Tasks will generally be completed sitting at a desk in the office working closely with other people
