Position Overview
We are looking for
an individual to join our team as a Legal Technician who will be responsible for testimony and
court appearances for the Department of Public Safety violations and other
This position
requires a professional, seasoned, articulate, quick thinking individual with
good judgment who applies a comprehensive and in-depth working knowledge of the
court process, evidence package and legal concepts. Candidate must be able to
work independently, with general guidance from management. Candidate must be a self starter who keeps on
top of company, industry and appropriate court protocol.
Responsibilities

Compiling
evidence packets for
·
Reviewing
violations to insure that case is appropriate
·
Insure
that evidence packets are professionally assembled and presented
·
Responsible
for reviewing all evidence photos for DPS (101 violations)
·
Responsible
for completing daily forms and reporting tools that support photo traffic enforcement.
·
Present
a professional appearance and possess excellent interpersonal, written and
verbal communications skills.
·
May
assist functional management in the performance of special assignments and
projects as needed.
·
Develop strong, positive working relationship’s with ATS staff,
customers and vendors
Experience
Required
·
3-5
years progressively responsible related experience in police, court process or
photo enforcement industry.
·
Experience
in preparing and delivering formal evidence packages for court.
·
Must be
a self starter, creative problem solver, quick thinker and able to thrive in a
fast-paced environment.
·
Excellent
communication skills
·
Proficiency
in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
·
Strong
organizational skills

Strong
organizational skills such that cases are prepared and ready for delivery on
time. Material must be well planned and
well organized.

Developing
detailed knowledge and understanding of ATS business and systems will be required.

Strong
communications skills such that senior ATS management and teams within ATS can
be kept up to speed on programs as needed.
·
Ability
to exercise good judgment and manage multiple projects simultaneously critical.
Physical
Environment
Local court travel will be required.
