Operations Manager Job Description

Position Overview
We are looking for an individual to join our team as an Operations Manager, who will be responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day management responsibility of the Philadelphia processing center. This position is also responsible for managing the client relationship using appropriate account management activity.
Essential Duties Operations
- Continue to build team of film processors and leads to meet client expectation and service levels.
- Develop and train team to handle new conversion process for violation processing.
- Ensure that each employee is coached, developed and communicated with on a regular basis regarding expectations, goals and performance.
- Direct responsibility for managing performance of client and company expectations.
- Develop and manage capacity planning tools to accurately forecast new volume or transition of work. Optimize staffing to meet demands and gain efficiencies.
- Ensure that challenges are communicated to senior management quickly and clearly.
- Manage the customer service function and payment control and tracking.
- Manage operational metrics, drive for continuous improvement.
- Define and implement quality processes and internal review for accuracy and timeliness.
- Managing clients and client expectations initially and on an ongoing basis.
- Develop a strong relationship with the client to insure that metrics and expectations are met. Handle problem areas, issues and concerns without delay.
- Oversee office leadership and dotted line reporting relationship (Field Service and Image Quality).
Experience Required
- BA Degree preferred or significant industry experience
- Five plus years of client relationship management, process, people, technology and financial experience
- Hands on, high energy manager with a proven track record of professional success
- Team player with an appropriate sense of urgency
- Ability to lead and motivate others in a positive environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage client relationships using a proactive approach; proven track record and experience in this area is required.
- Deep facilitation, problem solving, consensus building and issue resolution skills
- Proven track record of successful project management through on time and on budget delivery of planned scope
- Ability to define and utilize quantitative and qualitative management information reports for decision making
- Must adhere to the highest ethical standards including honesty, integrity, dedication and leadership
Physical Environment
Travel will be required. Position will report to the Philadelphia office.
