Operations Manager Job Description

American Traffic Solutions, Inc. (ATS) is a Scottsdale, Arizona-based technology and services company offering business solutions to support the growing worldwide requirements of our customers in the traffic and transportation management industry.

Position Overview
We are looking for an individual to join our team as an Operations Manager. The individual is responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day management responsibility of the Philadelphia processing center.

Essential Duties and Operations

• Continue to build a team of film processors and leads to meet client expectations and service levels.
• Ensure that each employee is coached, developed and communicated with on a regular basis regarding expectations, goals and performance.
• Direct responsibility for managing performance of client and company expectations.
• Develop and manage capacity planning tools to accurately forecast new volume or transition of work. Optimize staffing to meet demands and gain efficiencies.
• Ensure that challenges are communicated to senior management quickly and clearly.
• Manage operational metrics; drive for continuous improvement.
• Implement and manage multiple shifts in operations to achieve superior productivity and cost result.

Experience Required

• BA degree preferred or significant industry experience
• Five plus years of project management, process, people, technology and financial experience
• Hands on, high energy manager with a proven track record of professional success
• Team player with an appropriate sense of urgency
• Ability to lead projects by example and direction
• Ability to lead and motivate others in a positive environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Deep facilitation, problem solving, consensus building and issue resolution
• Must adhere to the highest ethical standards including honesty, integrity, dedication and leadership

Physical Environment
Travel will be required. Position will report to the Philadelphia office.
