Account Manager
Job Overview
We currently are hiring Account Managers in AZ, FL and the Midwest. This position is responsible for managing the ongoing relationships between ATS and its clients. The role will manage client relations, as well as analyze client issues and implement the best course of action to bring them to a mutually satisfactory resolution. This involves regular communication with employees at various career levels within public-sector organizations [e.g., City Manager, Chief of Police, Head of Department of Public Safety, Department of Transportation executives, as well as any staff members who report up through these same kinds of leaders].
Key Job Responsibilities
 |
Responsible for initiating and maintaining highly-satisfactory, responsive working relationships with clients at all phases within the client lifecycle |
 |
Attends face-to-face client meetings as necessary |
 |
Understands internal capabilities and provides appropriate time and support for other ATS team members to be able to exceed client expectations |
 |
Provide backup and support to clients when assigned AM(s) and/or Sr. AM(s) are unavailable |
 |
Represent the customer needs and voice in all internal process improvement-related initiatives |
 |
Proactively manage the day-to-day relationship with the client |
 |
Provide follow-up on all customer inquiries to ensure that the proper actions have been taken |
 |
Document, monitor, and audit records of customer interactions and issues, recording details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and all associated internal actions taken and/or information provided |

Proven ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously |

Ability to problem-solve using multiple sources of information in order to analyze, identify, and implement solutions to client needs and/or issues |

Ability to maintain highly-effective working relationships with cross-functional departments to ensure client satisfaction, including sales, project implementation, operations, information technology, public relations, marketing, and field support |

Must be able to present a professional appearance and possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills |
 |
Positive verbal skills required, including speech, tone, voice, and ability to project warmth and concern over the telephone |
 |
Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and/or other ATS departments |
 |
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various government regulations, as it applies to a given clients needs |
 |
5+ years experience in account management or related discipline |
 |
Ability to work with a variety of individuals with varying personalities and interpersonal skills |
 |
Must be a results-oriented professional with a strong desire to create win/win situations |
 |
Travel to client locations will be a key responsibility in this position. |
 |
Familiarity with Red Light Camera enforcement preferred |
