Scottsdale, AZ – American Traffic Solutions, Inc. (ATS) announced that the greater Miami, Florida communities of Coral Gables, Cutler Bay and Sunny Isles Beach have all contracted with the company to run their red-light camera enforcement programs. The contracts further solidify ATS as the leading provider of photo-enforcement programs in Florida.

“Our camera programs have proven to effectively improve traffic safety across the state of Florida by reducing the number of violations, crashes and injuries caused by red-light runners,” said James Tuton, President of American Traffic Solutions. “As the largest photo-enforcement provider in the State of Florida, we are excited to further expand our services in the greater Miami area.”

More than 88% of Miami area residents support red-light cameras, according to a poll conducted last year for the Stop Red-Light Running Coalition of Florida. In that same poll, statewide support for the red-light cameras was 85%.

ATS serves more than 120 communities in 18 states and the District of Columbia with red-light and speed camera programs. In Florida, ATS has been selected to operate photo enforcement programs for Apopka, Aventura, Brooksville, Casselberry, Florida City, Key Biscayne, Miami Gardens, North Miami, Orange County, Palm Coast, Pembroke Pines, Port Richey, Satellite Beach, Sweetwater, Temple Terrace and Winter Springs.
